Users can be assigned specific ranges of recipes that they "View Only" or "Add\Modify".  The ranges for each option can be different.  For example, a cook may be able to view all available recipes, but will only have the privilege of modifying a specific range of recipes.  Alternatively, staff may be limited to look at only a specific range of recipes because the other recipes could be designated as limited access due to franchise agreements.  These privileges are set up with the User Profiles program.

 

When using the Display Picture option, a path may be defined to point to the program to the library of where the pictures are stored.  Select Global to point to a network path that multiple users may have access to.  Select Local to point to a library of pictures stored locally on the user's workstation.

 

The Scale Picture option is available when recipe pictures are too large to fit within the program window. Clicking the checkbox will shrink the picture to fit within the Display Picture Tab.

  
Default Location used for costing - This enables a user to set a default location to be used for displaying cost information for a recipe.
Optional Nutritive Group - By default the first group will be used.  However, a user may select a different group if desired using the dropdown.  The Nutritive Group selection only affects the Nutrient Fact Label display within the Global Recipe program.

  

  
The Print/Export Tab provides the user with 3 options that can be toggled on/off.  When toggled on (the checkbox is "checked") the selected options will be included when a recipe is printed/exported.
The 3 options are:  Product Information, Chef Notes, and Cost Information.

There are numerous options on this tab that affect how the Spell Checker works within the program.
