The purpose of the Chef Comment utility is to allow users to maintain notes about a recipe.
Access the Chef Comments utility in the Global Recipe program 3 different ways: the Tools menu, the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+M), or click the toolbar button ""
After opening the utility, simply type in the notes for the open recipe. Use the Date Stamp button to insert the current date/time at the cursor.
After Chef Comments have been entered, users are provided with a visual prompt that indicate that the recipe has a Chef Comment. The prompt is that the toolbar button changes from a white circle "" to a blue circle "
".
Please Note: These notes will not appear on the production recipe generated with the Production Run and they are not included when a recipe is exported to Microsoft® Word.
