How to Use Menu Analysis

Menu Analysis is executed through the location's Menu Maintenance program. Enter the cycle or standard menu by number, and enter a patron count to precost the menu by.

After a patron count has been entered, select Menu Analysis from the Tools Menu. The Menu Analysis Criteria window will then open.

To generate a Menu Analysis Report, first select the desired Menu Categories then select the Report Options.

Menu Category Selection

The categories selected should probably represent at least 10% to 15% of total sales to give significant results. It is important to note, however, that this menu analysis concept is a model based on each patron choosing one item form the selected category. Therefore, total portions selected should approximate the number of patrons served.
