Point of Sale Interface

The Point Of Sale dialog box is used to cross reference FoodPro menu items to SKU’s from the POS registers. The SKU numbers assigned will be used when updating the Service Record file. For recipes with multiple product sizes listed on the menu, the program allows separate SKU numbers to be assigned for all product sizes.

 

Options for the point of sale interface vary by POS vendor.

 

In this example, the SKU, Product Size, Portion Size are for a hypothetical fountain beverage configurations. Selections appear in the left hand side of the tab in the SKU List box. The same recipe is sold in 3 different portion sizes, and information for a fourth SKU is begin actively added. To add the information to this recipe, the ADD button would be pressed.
