Inventory Analysis Recap
After the inventory is input, the Inventory Analysis Report is printed for all locations. The Inventory Analysis Report provides the actual use of each inventory item by adding purchase quantities and amount transferred to the beginning inventory count and then subtracting the ending inventory count. The program also prints the total planned usage and the deviation amounts between the planned and actual usage for each inventory item.
Once the Inventory Analysis Report has been printed, the planned and actual usage of each inventory item may be further examined through the Inventory Usage Recap Program.
Note: For Cash Operations using the inventory/recipe cross reference program, the actual usage is based upon what was sold.
For each individual inventory item entered, the Inventory Usage Recap Program will display a breakdown of what contributed to the planned, actual and deviations in past week activity for:
Beginning inventory count
Total planned quantity of purchases
Total actual quantity of purchases
Detail listing of all purchases
Deviation between planned and actual purchases
Total planned quantity of transfers received
Total actual quantity of transfers received
Detail listing of actual transfers received
Deviation between planned and actual transfer quantity received
Ending inventory count
Detail daily breakdown of all planned inventory needs
Additionally, if there were any planned or actual transfers to be sent during the past week, the program will display the following information:
Total planned quantity of transfers sent
Total actual quantity of transfers sent
Detail listing of all transfers sent
Deviation between planned and actual transfers sent
