Selecting Scale Amounts will scale the Ingredient Amounts when the Portion Source is changed. This is useful as the recipe may be scaled to the exact number of portions from the cook’s recipe. This allows increasing or decreasing the source number of portions and having the ingredients amounts change by the same ratio.
The program defaults to scale. Removing the check by single click is valid when the recipe yield is wrong and change to the source number of portions is required.
Removing the check will allow modifying of the source number without changing the ingredient amounts.
