Recipe Unit
The standard unit by which the item is called for in a recipe.
If an item is weighed, the Recipe Unit is LB.
If an item is measured, the Recipe Unit is QT.
If and item is counted, the Recipe Unit is EACH.
FoodPro limits the choice for a specific reason, so that the person doing the recipe writing does not have to worry about how the item is purchased. The ratios between recipe units and inventory units and purchase units are set in the location inventory file.
