Updating Document Templates
Updating templates is the option that allows users to "text-edit" the body of a template. The user can type a letter from scratch and insert merge fields in the appropriate locations, or paste paragraphs of text from a different Word Document into the template that is being updated.
Select the template from the Catering Templates Window, then click on the UPDATE TEMPLATE button on the right side of the program interface. Clicking the UPDATE TEMPLATE button will open the Template Document (using Microsoft Word as the text-editor).
At this point the template can modified like any other Word document. While creating or modifying the document, it will be necessary to insert merge fields into the document to act as placeholders for the data that will be carried into Word from either Outlook or FoodPro.
Merge fields can only be inserted by using the "Insert Merge Field" button.

This Button is found on the Mail Merge toolbar, which will open automatically when the template opens.
